Happily Never After

                I recently finished Happily Never After by Lynn Painter, and I found it to be an enjoyable, lighthearted read. The story follows Jane, who, after being left at the altar, decides to avoid all romantic entanglements. But, as life would have it, her resolve is tested when she crosses paths with someone who might change her perspective on love.

What I appreciated most was the humor and relatable emotions woven throughout the book. Jane’s character is both witty and vulnerable, making it easy to root for her despite her heartbreak. Lynn Painter does a great job of capturing the complexities of love, loss, and personal growth without making it feel overly heavy.

The pacing is smooth, and while the plot might be predictable at times, it's the charm of the characters and the sweet moments that kept me engaged. If you’re in the mood for a fun, feel-good romance that doesn’t take itself too seriously, Happily Never After is a great pick.
